Doug's notes:

"The Windows Of My Life" was recorded for Minotaur Records for the Somebody's Searchin' album in the early '90s. The song was one picked by Mr. Tomich, the record producer, and was penned by New York-based songwriter Mary Ellen Barlow.

This poignant song tells of a yearning for a father who had passed away prematurely. The singer recounts the childhood influence of his father, a longing for his dad's advice and refrains: "Oh dad, I wish that you were here today."
